Projects tomorrow

There are many development projects and they will contribute to the development of the city’s economy.

Thanks to its tourism industry and of its unique location in Morocco, the local businessmen as well as private investors have started several projects: the creation of a new coastal road, a sport complex outside the medina, an annexe of the city hotel near Bab Marrakech….

These are only small projects in relation to the private investments that will start in the near future.

In front of the sea there are several new constructions such as Atlas Hospitality and its 5 star Hotel, Al Maghrib Bank and its private residences, Accor and the new Hotel Ibis at the entrance of the city….On the outskirts of the new city new luxury properties are under construction as well as a clinic and public buildings.

On a different scale a seaside resort will be built in the next few years in the vicinity of Diabat. This project includes several hotels, villas and apartments, 2 golf clubs as well as cultural and sport structures. It will all be situated  in the middle of a large park overlooking the ocean.

Infrastructure development on the host city is growing at the tourist crowds.
The curious or the enthusiasts are always more numerous, the city exercising its bewitching charm on most of its visitors.

Following the city development the ONDA (Airport National Office), has started to enlarge the airport. Another runway will allow medium size planes (Boeing) to land. The expansion of its terminal allowed it to welcome around 30 000 passengers in 2007.

Constantly evolving, the pearl of the Atlantic continues to reveal a new face.
